|Nurse Management of Oral Chemotherapy|
The Nurse Management of Oral Chemotherapy program was developed to address toxicity and side effect management associated with oral chemotherapies, with the aim of increased awareness of the role of cancer nurses in managing patients receiving oral treatment, increased adherence by cancer patients to their prescribed treatment, increased leadership and advocacy of cancer nurses in the safe management of the populations receiving oral treatment and increased use of ‘best practice’ by cancer nurses related to assessment and management of toxicities and symptoms related to oral therapies. This project was supported by Pfizer.
