The International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC) is pleased to announce the introduction of Fundamentals in Oncology, Part 1.

It is a web based oncology educational programme of the ISNCC, which was made possible by an unrestricted educational grant from Bristol-Myers Squibb International Oncology.

Fundamentals is available worldwide, to nurses and to other interested healthcare professionals as a learning tool, with the goal of improving cancer patient care. The information contained in this "Introduction" is the most recent statistics on the global problem of cancer. The Introduction to Fundamentals provides a basic overview of the problem of cancer in the United States.
