The distribution of global cancer nursing education resources is often unbalanced. There are insufficient cancer textbooks in low and middle-income countries where cancer nurses, educators and researchers do not get enough access to adequate professional books.
In order to support resource sharing, enhance internal and external communications and enhance cancer nursing development in underdeveloped areas, the ISNCC Communications Committee proposes an initiative to donate books to cancer nurses in need.
We invite all ICCN 2017 delegates to bring books to donate or exchange.
The textbook donations criteria will be as follows:
- Date of publication is under 10 years old
- Legal public publication
- Content range:
o Cancer nursing theories
o Clinical technologies and practices on cancer nursing
o Any related to cancer nursing
o Research methods in cancer nursing
A table will be set up at ICCN and manned by Communications Committee Members. Please ensure the textbooks you bring to ICCN follow the text book donations criteria.
You are welcome to bring your books to the table and leave your contact information including email address. We will send you an email to inform you of your book recipients.
Please submit the form below to participate.
We are look forward to your participation!
